PIGI - an AI/camera-powered system for weighing pigs that has both low up-front costs and is easy enough for anyone to use accurately.
Most pigs are weighed either on a scale or by visual estimate. Weighing 100kg+ pigs on a scale takes a considerable amount of time and manpower. Visual estimation requires considerable experience, and even then, estimates will differ person to person.
With PIGI, all you need is a smartphone to take accurate weight measurements of your pigs. PIGI not only improves profitability by helping determine the best time to ship pigs, but also saves tremendous amounts of time spent weighing, allowing for farmers to raise more pigs and improve profitability.
