Robert Pattinson has signed on to star in Good Time, the film’s directors Josh and Benny Safdie confirmed on Twitter.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Good Time will follow a bank robber as he unsuccessfully tries to run from the police. Pattinson will play Connie.

The Safdie brothers recently teamed up to direct Heaven Knows What, a documentary-narrative hybrid starring Arielle Holmes, a young heroine junkie living in New York and deeply in love.

In his next film, Life, Pattinson stars the actor as a Life magazine photographer Dennis Stock, who was assigned to take pictures of James Dean in 1955. Life is expected to hit theaters this fall.

Reps for Pattinson and the Good Time directors did not immediately respond to requests for confirmation on his casting.
