KTM Japan has announced the introduction of the new 2024 KTM 390 DUKE in Japan.
The fully redesigned KTM 390 DUKE features a new engine, frame, and equipment, and delivers a maximum output of 45 PS. It is equipped with the latest features, including a WP APEX open cartridge fork and a three-stage ride mode change.
It was released last Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at a price of (approx.) 5319 USD.

The 2024 KTM 390 DUKE was announced overseas this summer, and its introduction to Japan has been officially confirmed. This is the first full model change since 2017, and the new model has gained athletic performance in line with the catchphrase THE CORNER ROCKET.
Changes were made to the engine, frame, exterior, electronic controls, and various equipment in almost every area, and the appearance has also undergone a major transformation. The model introduced in Japan has almost the same specifications and equipment as the overseas models.
The engine mounted on this model is a 398.7 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC with an increased displacement of 398.7 cc and an output of 45 PS, 1 PS more than the previous model.
A newly designed frame lowers the seat height, which can be adjusted from 800mm to 820mm with a single touch. The front fork features a 43mm-diameter WP APEX open cartridge.
Compression and rebound adjustment functions have been newly added. The rear shock is also made by WP, and the suspension has been strengthened as well. On the equipment side, a 5-inch full-color TFT LCD meter with a riding mode change function has been added.
The output characteristics can be changed in three stages: STREET, RAIN, and TRACK.
The new 390 DUKE is priced at (approx.) 5319 USD, up161 USD approx. from the previous model. This price increase with all the bells and whistles is good news for riders who are considering purchasing a 390 DUKE.
The model will be available in two colors, "Electronic Orange" and "Atlantic Blue. The product was released last Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
