Christina Milian's Food Diary: What I Eat in a Day

Christina Milian

Christina Milian‘s fitness philosophy is simple.

“When your stomach feels full, do not eat past that,” she says.

The Grandfathered star, 34, keeps her calorie intake down with “a salad a day” and meals like a cheeseburger, minus the bun.

“I try to only have a certain amount of calories per day but eat right so I can keep my energy up,” she says. The 5’2″ actress also sticks to a low-dairy diet “to avoid cellulite” and makes sure to drink plenty of water.

“I try to drink as close to a gallon of water a day,” she says. “Hydration is how I keep my skin clear and my body energized throughout the day.”

The Verdict: “At breakfast, Christina should go for whole eggs over turkey bacon,” says dietitian Keri Glassman of NutritiousLife.com, who gives Milian props for her lunch filled with good lean protein. “But many ‘salads’ like this one can be loaded with mayo,” says Glassman. “And no need for a light dressing, that usually just means more sugar.” As for Milian’s dinner: “Sushi is also an excellent source of protein,” she says, “but this meal is missing veggies and could use a little healthy fat.”
