About this app

ORB-20 is a sim-racing-themed watchface celebrating the SRM GT4 Challenge sim-racing series. Based on a GT-style racing steering wheel which rotates with the wearer’s wrist, this watchface can display the colours of 10 sim-racing teams.

Note: Items in the description annotated with a ‘*’ have further details in the ‘Functionality Notes’ section.

Change the look of the watch face (long-press the watch face and select ‘customise’)...
There are 10 sim-racing team names/logo/colours that can be selected:
1. SRM Racing Team (default)
2. Apex Racing Academy
3. Apex Racing Team
4. BoosTED Motorsport
5. CDM Esports
6. Crockery Direct
7. Orburis Racing
8. RD Simsport
9. Rusty’s Roasts Racing
10. Scallent Pro Driving

There are also 70 combinations of colours – ten colours for the time display and seven background shades. These items can be independently changed via the ‘Customise’ option, available by long-pressing the watch face.

Data displayed:
• Time (12h & 24h formats)
• Date (Day-of-week, Day-of-month, Month)
• Short user-configurable information window, suitable for displaying items such as weather or sunrise/sunset times
• Long user-configurable information window, suitable for displaying items such as calendar events
• Battery charge level percentage and LED scale*
• Steps goal percentage* and LED scale
• Step-calorie count*
• Step count
• Distance travelled (miles/km)*
• Time zone
• Heart rate (5 zones)
◦ Blue: <60 bpm
◦ Green: 60-99 bpm
◦ White: 100-139 bpm
◦ Yellow: 140-169 bpm
◦ Red: >170bpm

Always on Display:
- Time is displayed in green on the AoD display
- The short and long user-configurable fields will show the next calendar event and Sunrise/Sunset times in AOD mode.

Multilingual support for day-of-the-week and month fields:

*Functionality Notes:
- Step Goal: For Wear OS 4.x or later devices, the step goal is sync’d with the wearer’s health app. For earlier versions of Wear OS, step goal is fixed at 6,000 steps.
- Distance Travelled: Distance is approximated as: 1km = 1312 steps, 1 mile = 2100 steps.
- Distance Units: Displays miles when the locale is set to en_GB or en_US, otherwise km.
- First battery LED flashes in active mode when battery % is <10%

What’s new in this version?
1. Included a workaround to display the font correctly on some Wear OS 4 watch devices.
2. Step goal syncs with the health-app on Wear OS 4 watches.
3. Removed ‘Measure Heart Rate’ button (not supported)
4. Updated Orburis Racing colours
