Can you say sweet and sassy? This ’93 Viper is just that. Sweet and sassy. And that orange stripe along with the orange lip on the wheels, it just draws you in.

I met David at February’s SuperBowl Edition of Caffeine & Octane (held in Alpharetta, Georgia monthly.) His car caught my eye..and I just had to shoot it.  It’s name is “Nemesis.” And it’s got quite the engine in it…..8.111 litres of pure engine………it’s been bored over for future performance upgrade….because who wouldn’t want to do performance upgrades on this baby? We need more speed!!!

Nemesis has a custom hard top and custom paint.  It has been lowered – extremely – and has 14″ x 20″ tyres in the rear as well as 13″ x 19″ in the front with one of a kind Kennedy 3 piece modular wheels. Other unique features are the high gloss black custom dash, a short shifter and some great tunes from Pioneer!  This car was hand built and the third vehicle out of the Team Viper facility in 1993. Nemesis does lack air conditioning, a  much needed creature comfort in the state of Georgia…where the summers are not only hot but incredibly humid.

The car was originally owned by John Force and David has owned in since November 2013….still a brand new car for him! He admits to smiling ear to ear when taking the keys from the previous owner……for his entire 3 hour drive home!!!! The Viper just so happens to be his dream car as well and is his daily driver, rain or shine!!!!  It gets 14-16 mpg in town and on the highway about 26 mpg….not bad for such a big engine.

Upcoming modifications: Russell McGehee Performance will making a simple change to the stock ring and pinion gearing…from the stock 3.07 to 3.73 for more effective engine-to-pavement response.  This will also effect the top speed and highway fuel economy however the town drive-ability will increase.

When asked why David chose a Viper, he responded that he loves the simplicity of the car as well as the sheer power.

What is David’s most memorable moment so far in his Viper RT/10, you ask? Easy! Having the rear end even with the front end on the interstate! Someone forgot how much torque his Viper had!! David says once he got himself together after that adventure, he drove like a new student driver with his Mom and Grandma in the back seat, pointing their fingers at him. Can you even imagine?

Truly this Viper is a gorgeous car, full of plenty of power and style. It’s truly a recognizable car…..with its distinct styling and features.  It was a pleasure and an honor to photograph David’s Viper…Nemesis!!! Keep an eye out for him around Georgia!
