The Phoenix Tears Goji Berry is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub. Branches are simple but supportive enough to support many pounds of ripened berries. Berries are small, light violet-colored flowers that produce fruit appear in late spring on plant stems that are at least two years old. Berries ripen over a long period in mid-summer, with up to four weeks of harvest, berries are sweet flavor with slight acidity. A cold and drought-tolerant variety.
