Surprisingly entertaining. A spunky version of Bewitched. Magic powers, beloved characters, and love the annoying little sister ☺️

Very Very satisfied with the DVDs. I love H20 Just Add Water! I remember when it aired on Nickelodeon several years ago and then was taken off the air. I was so disappointed about that.
Several years later it started airing on TeenNick and I remembered how much I loved it so I started wondering around the internet in search of DVDs of the show. I'm glad Amazon has them available for purchase. I could have re-watched the series online but I just don't like watching shows over the computer, it just doesn't feel the same to me.
This show is so amazing. I wish that they could have made more than three seasons.
I recommend this to anyone. Its just such a great tv show that the whole family can watch. I love the theme song and the plot and characters are great too. I've already finished watching this season and I just bought season two and soon enough I'll by season three.
My favorite character is Emma by the way.

I love mermaids and this is a cute story. filmed in Australia, about three friends who inadvertently become mermaids after visiting a mysterious cave on a remote Island. Each develops a different power over water. Problem is, they can't get wet otherwise they turn. Living in a sea town, having to do dishes, attending pool parties and one working in a water park prove challenging to these young ladies who must keep their secret lest they become lab "rats". But sometimes they come dangerously close to being discovered. Out of necessity, they entrust their secret to only one friend, a brain who helps them whenever they need it. I'm a senior citizen and enjoyed the series so much that I am now watching it for a second time.

What an exciting show this is. I love the fact that it is in Australia. I've never been, but would love to go someday and spend time on the Gold Coast where this show was filmed. The actresses are beautiful and their fresh faces lend credibility to the tale (no pun intended). The first season had a dramatic story line. Yes, some of the plot is cheesy and not well thought out such as *spoiler alert* the marine biologist should have observed the effect of their transformation a little longer to see if they were permanently or just temporarily changed back to normal. I would have been a bit suspicious if the change was indeed permanent.

My husband found this show for our 6 year old daughter to watch and now the rest of the family is hooked! It's a fun, imaginative show from Down Under, with just enough intrigue to keep teens and adults interested as well. Our son (11 years) sometimes finds the whole wet girls turn into mermaids thing a bit silly, but he still roots for them and tries to solve the mysteries or figure their way out of situations. And there are some real-life situations as well that spark conversations - Chloe's parent's divorce, Rikki's rogue behavior and hiding her family situation, and Charlotte's scheming, boyfriend stealing. Throw in some unsuspecting family members including bratty siblings and the history of mermaids and keep watching through season 2!

I rented this show while we had friends in town with an 8 year old daughter and we were looking for her to watch. I ended up liking it about as much as she did. I love the concept of these girls becoming mermaids and using it for good. They save turtles, go on beautiful swims with dolphins, and work high school without anyone finding out they are mermaids. It is a refreshing show that has girls being good friends to each other, fighting for important causes, and smart. I would recommend this show to anyone with young daughters. It's a lot of fun.

This is such a fun series. The creators and everyone involved has managed to make a set of truly interesting characters involved in truly interesting plots - without sex and violence. Imagine that! Of course, this could not happen in the USA - this series comes to us from Australia. The main characters are delightful, unique, and engaging. The plots touch on such themes as friendship, kindness, greed, ecology, family values, and more. The series has appeal for teens and pre-teens but also for adults looking for pleasant, light entertainment. Very well done!

I love this show. I've seen it a dozen times and it is just as great the twelfth time as the first. I don't think I will ever get tired of watching this show. three girls in high school get a gift visiting a small island where they live. they get transformed into mermaids and many adventures are had along their daily lives and they even get to save the world at the end.

Viewed only 2 episodes so far, but we're catching on. Its kind-of silly in places but not moronic like so many contemporary sitcoms, so silly is fine with us. Also very clean so far, again quite unlike modern sitcoms, and the traces of Aussie accent are refreshing. I expect we'll finish the season and look for more.

I should add that my wife and I are from the old school of viewers; she's 74 years old and I'm 77, so your opinion might differ.

Extras:
Ein ca 20minütiges Making Of (mit deutschen Untertiteln)

Fazit:
