For sale my pair of third generation Katana loudspeakers from Gemme Audio with outboard crossover. I've been the only owner.
Everybody agrees that these speakers sound as good as they look, and that's a fact. Gorgeous looks, gorgeous sound!
This new version of Katana is built on the 3rd gen Vflex architecture, with bass that's even better, deeper than previous versions... still using a single 7" driver!. The third generation offers a larger and stiffer cabinet built of a birch ply/MDF sandwich with a 20% bigger sound chamber, new compression chamber and new horn profile. Additional changes include an outboard crossover, with single connector Neutrik post. Cabling is Furutech/Canare with supplied 3-meter Neutrik terminated umbilical. Common to all V3 models are the new forged steel footing tuned to 3Hz for room decoupling, adjustable port, choice of fabric grill or anti-diffraction felt/foam cut-out (pictured). Crossover is first order on both transducers sourced from Accuton. It comes shipped in custom ATA aluminum flight cases.
On one photo you see the outboard crossover from the back, sitting on top of speakers. On the next photo you see the back of one speaker with the Neutrik connector cable.
