Determination note

This specimen is probably referable to C. cerdo pfisteri, a form actually described from Sicily, where nevertheless, it does not differ from typical cerdo.
C. cerdo acuminatus has very long and acute pronotal spines, ca. 4-5 times the spines this specimen has.
