HomeDo you know the March Mountains?
March Mountains. Do you know where they are and how to spend your free time there? If not, you will soon find out. CzechTourism has launched an online campaign focused on the Březnovy Mountains. All over the Czech Republic people will find the answer to the question: "Do you know the March Mountains?"
The campaign, whose creative concept is behind the VCCP agency, aims to motivate people to ski in spring. The action question inspires people to take a holiday or a trip to higher altitudes in the Czech Republic. It can be viewed in online media from 27 February to 26 March.

"The Czech mountains in March offer more than meets the eye. Plenty of snow, fewer people, pleasant weather and it's close, in 2 hours you are on the slopes," says Director of the Czech Tourism Centre - CzechTourism Jan Herget and adds. The aim is to motivate domestic tourists, especially those from larger towns, to go not only to domestic ski resorts and enjoy Březnovka as much as possible. They can spend their spring holidays there, which are held in our country in stages, the last regions have them until 19 March. Or they can enjoy the domestic mountains for the second time in the winter season after having tried snow-covered slopes abroad before."

This year, the VCCP agency is preparing a campaign for CzechTourism based on a selection procedure not only for domestic tourism but also for foreign markets. "The opportunity to present the Czech Republic at home and abroad is always a great honour. While we have the original Březnovky for tourists from the Czech Republic, abroad we will present the traditions – Czech Republic as a place of unexpected experiences. Business Director of VCCP Ondřej Fiala describes the creation of the concept and adds." The campaign is expected to run in two waves this year as well as in 2022, mainly in neighbouring countries and outside Europe.

The domestic March Mountains campaign, with a budget of CZK 2.42 million, is being deployed at an ideal time when the weather is more than favourable for mountains in the Czech Republic. Temperatures are below freezing, tens of centimetres of snow fell over the weekend and the sun shines during the day.
