German computer site HT4U has tested the real maximum power consumption of the latest graphics cards from ATI and NVIDIA. The site measured the power draw from the PCI Express slot and the PCIe 6/8-pin connectors and used FurMark because this benchmark creates a much higher power consumption than other tools.
