Butterflies are graded for sale although there is always some interpretation

Ex pupa - Best quality possible
A1 - The best quality that can be expected from a wild caught specimen (antennae possibly loose)
A1- - Near perfect (possible antennae damage ,some rubbing on wings, minor chips)
A - Good but more obvious damage (small chips or splits in wing )
A2 -Major damage to wing ,but useful for reference
B - Art grade ( wing missing , long splits and chunks missing from wing)

All our specimens are either bred or collected with licenses. Insect numbers are on decline worldwide due to deforestation, global warming, pesticides and light pollution. By buying insects you encourage the local people to have stewardship of their environment by collecting a renewable resource. Buy an insect to save the insects.
