10 of our favourite sunflower bouquets to shop this summer

Topping both our letterbox and flower delivery tests, Bloom & Wild is continually reliable for an ever-changing selection of stunning seasonal bouquets. This joyful sunflower bunch, punctuated with oranges, pinks and green foliage, is a real showstopper.

Zing pleasantly surprised us in our letterbox flower tests; we didn't expect such prettily-put together bouquets from a smaller flower brand. Its sunflower offering is no exception, with a generous 22 stems – including three punchy sunflowers, five yellow santini blooms and some beautiful germini cheerily nestled together – all for £31.99.

Simple, classic and and well-priced for 12 blooms, Marks's sunflower bunch would make a lovely summery gift for a friend in need of a quick pick-me-up. Tall 50cm stems ensure maximum impact upon arrangement.

This is one of the cheapest options on our lists. So, if you're on a budget, head to Funky Pigeon. You get just seven stems, in contrast to Marks's 12, but it'll still make a pretty display on a table or windowsill.

Appleyard has gone chic and classic this year, offering just the single stem arrangement. Nonetheless, you can upgrade to a larger size for an additional cost – or add some Champagne or Prosecco and some truffles to make an extra lovely gift.

Bagging the top spot for supermarket blooms in our flower tests, our panellists loved Waitrose's long-lasting bouquets and premium-feeling packaging. Its sunflowers are carefully paired with complementary coral roses, lilac clematis and some vibrant orange antirrhinum to beautiful effect.

Another heavy hitter from our flower tests; you can expect something a bit special when you buy from Haute. This beautiful bunch features a solid seven vatieties of flower – even including some fluffy pink peonies – adding up to a really showstopping display. Size up for an extra £5 or £10 respectively.

Prestige has a range of bouquets in association with The National Gallery. This one, naturally, is inspired by Van Gogh's sunflowers. Add more stems for an extra £5 or £10.

This is a pricey option, but with 34 stems, it's one of the largest and fullest bouquets featured. It's also the only bunch to include some fluffy chrysanthemums, which always add a bit of wow-factor to proceedings. A really special treat, with plenty of wow-factor, that anyone would be thrilled to receive!
