One of the easier flight sims on the Amiga to get into. The frame rate is very smooth although the game can be occasionally buggy. It feels a little lightweight compared to some games in this genre but it plays well and is a solid flight sim on the whole..

Many targets, Medals, Ranks: well done !

Yet another flight sim on the Amiga, with a very fast and smooth 3D engine. I always felt F-29 Retaliator had too little to distinguish itself from other simulators.

It was fast, you could feel the adrenaline of a pilot. I'm not an expert at the simulators area but i think that was one of the very good ones

One of the few flight sims I actually played (and could stand!)! It had nice mix of flying and combat and was pleasing on the eye with varied missions.

Really excellent one, not as good as F-18 Interceptor even if it has its unique style...
I really liked this one a lot

Oceans first flight sim is actually a very good one! Over 90 missions wait to be mastered, the polygon graphics are fast, the controls good. (86%)

I aways rather liked this game because if nothing else it moved at a fair old lick and stuff happened pretty quickly and in a semi arcade way which was important when you were 8 years old. That and the fact I was comparing it to Fighter Bomber which was sloooooow.

A nice flight-simulator for Amiga, but that never reached the atmosphere of F/A18 Intrceptor...

My favourite flight sim! Probably because it was arcadey and bitmapped explosions, but it was also simple to fly and had fast graphics.

Fantastic 3D graphics. Blistering fast even on dead slow A500! The game was only missing some depth.

I first had this on the Atari ST and when I bought my fist Amiga, I bought this game the same day. I had a fantastic time playing it, as did my eldest son. It was well beyond anything in it's class at the time. I must find an image file of it and give it a whirl in an emulator

This was released 1990, not 1989.

This is a brilliant game. Hugely impressive graphics for the time that ran at a blistering pace. Diverse and enjoyable missions along with responsive simple controls gave the game a fun, arcadey feel.
As I remember, early versions suffered from a few bugs which were ironed out in previous releases. Maybe this is why a few people couldn´t get on with it?
For the people who persevered however this remains a great example of an early, more arcade orientated flight sim.
Tip - Dogfighting is an important part of the game tactically and very fun to boot. To be able to achieve it however, SLOW DOWN when engaging! You can't dogfight at mach10!

Impressive graphics, sterile gameplay. F/A-18 Interceptor was more fun, agreed!

This stank. Hated it. Fly your daft uncontrollable plane over vast expanses of nothingness. What is it that people like about this game?
