The compact mounds of this Cranesbill make it an outstanding selection for open areas of the garden. The leaves are ornamental in nature almost snowflake like in appearance. By late spring growing green mounds begin to sprout purple pink flowers. In fall the cranesbill lives up to it's moniker of "bloody" turning a brilliant scarlet-red. Geranium is a very adaptable plant and will do will in areas with hot summers or cold winters and is a great plant for beginner gardeners or those looking for a low maintenance planting.

Geranium Sarguineum - Bloody Cranesbill

These geraniums were so healthy when I picked them up, and they were already in biodegradable bags. I prepared my soil and planted them in their bags into my garden bed. After three weeks, they are already blooming.
