Nearly two months after his split from Charlize Theron, Sean Penn appears to be moving on.

The 54-year-old actor went on a date with “CSI: NY’s” Emmanuelle Vaugier Tuesday, reports Us Weekly.

The pair was spotted dining at Madeo in West Hollywood, Calif., on what appeared to be a one-on-one date.

Seated in a corner booth, the stars “seemed to have good chemistry,” an observer told the mag.

After their meal they supposedly headed out back for a private conversation on the restaurant’s patio where Penn smoked a cigarette as Vaugier sipped on a vodka martini.

They reportedly enjoyed each other’s company with a good chat that the “Milk” star led as the 39-year-old actress smiled and laughed.

His night out with the brunette beauty follows his split from Theron in June after more than a year together.

The “Mad Max: Fury Road” star was said to be the one to break it off with some reports indicating it had to do with her demanding career.

“Putting aside that he’s my partner, he’s the love of my life; for the first time, I felt that my work was really bleeding into my life and that made it hard,” she said in the June issue of Elle UK.

But her words made it seem like there was more to it than just work.

“There were moments where I was incredibly unfair to him,” she told the mag. “And moments where I felt like … he was incredibly unfair to me.”

Still, Penn had no problem gushing about Theron and his deep feelings for her while they were still together.

“To run into somebody now who you care about is much more passionate, deeper, truer and — God! — a much happier feeling,” he told Esquire magazine in January.
