Jamie Waylett, a cast member in six “Harry Potter” films, has been sent to the slammer.

A jury at London’s Wood Green Crown Court found the actor guilty of violent disorder in the rioting that flared up across England last summer. It acquitted him of a charge of intending to damage property with a fire bomb he was holding.

The judge sentenced him to two years in jail. Waylett played the Hogwarts bully Vincent Crabbe in the films.

Prosecutors said Waylett was part of a small gang that rioted in north London on Aug. 8.

The 22-year-old actor had admitted to handling a bottle of stolen Champagne from a supermarket during the riots.

He has a previous conviction for growing marijuana.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
