Going to be posting a different paintball marker once per week for the next several weeks (months). Going to go give a little info and history in each marker as well.
Going to kick this off with a classic marker from one if the big names of paintball: Palmer. Tough times have fallen on Palmer, but they make some undeniably awesome paintball markers and have been the name for custom markers for decades.
Here I have an example of a Palmer Hurricane, based off a convert Typhoon. The Typhoon originally came to the marker in February of 1990. They are Sheridan based markers but custom made by Palmer.
This example found locally and had been sitting in a basement for decades. Turns out it was previously owned by my friend in Ontario who got Palmer to convert it from a Typhoon to a Hurricane. My friend also gracious brought this back to life after it proved beyond my ability.
Note the use of a pirate-style stock, the underslung Palmer Stabilizer, the external ball detent and front grip originally from a Tippmann 68 Special.
