She was awarded a degree of an engineer at the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Economics in Bratislava in the field of International Business. She completed her doctoral studies (PhD) in the field of Management at the Faculty of Management of the University of Prešov in Prešov. During her previous study, she successfully completed the summer school programme of the City University of Seattle, as well as the scientific research internship at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. Currently, she works as an assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Economy at the Faculty of Management and Business of the University of Prešov in Prešov. Her pedagogical activities include teaching of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. Her scientific work is focused on the research of economic performance and management of Slovak enterprises mainly in the agricultural sector, the analysis of international trade in agricultural commodities and the evaluation of the competitiveness of the agricultural sector of the Slovak Republic in the context of public administration management and the economic policies of the European Union. She has cooperated on several successful scientific research projects and grants as a co-investigator. She is a co-author of one foreign scientific monograph, one domestic scientific monograph and four university textbooks. So far she has published 87 publications, of which several publications were indexed in various prestigious scientific databases. 18 of her publications with 45 citations are registered in the Web of Science database and 2 of them are registered in the Current Contents database. 16 of her publications with 46 citations are registered in the Scopus database. Partial results of her research were presented at several important domestic and foreign scientific conferences.
