UPDATE: According to the BrightRidge Outage Map, power has been restored.

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) – BrightRidge crews are responding to a broken crossarm that fell into conductor wire near their Jonesborough substation.

According to BrightRidge Public Relations Director Tim Whaley, about 650 customers are without power. Switching orders are being prepared that will restore power to some, but will take time to deploy.

Whaley said that given the proximity of the pole to the substation, repairs will take additional time as personnel are being called into replace the pole.

Currently, there is not an estimated time of restoration.
