Excellent Value & Performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 3 packs of these DVDs and proceeded to burn 90 DVDs of a video I shot on my camcorder, edited, and converted to video format. That also means I burnt 90 labels using Lightscribe. Results: Every single label burn came out fine using an LG DVD writer. Every single video burn came out fine too. No coasters! These DVDs were distributed to a wide variety of people to play on their home DVD players. I have not received any reports of incompatibility. However, I did the burn at 12x rather than at the 16x of which the DVD is supposedly capable. When I tried 20x I got intermittent problems. Dropping to 12x gave me 100% solid reliability. When I need to burn more DVDs, I'll buy more of these Verbatim Lightscribe DVDs.

great brand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i had nothing but problems with my DL dvd+r's and when i used Verbatim brand i had almost 100% error free compared to less than 50% so when it was time for more of just the dvd + r which i use lightscribe mostly i figured to stay with Verbatim just from my experience from the double layer and so far all my dvds worked great even at 9-10X speeds and what i learned with lightscribe for ALL brands is when making a label leave the dvd or cd in the drive and print again it will re print exactly over the first pass and darken it and if you can still catch the sale price than you cant beat that deal for the quality

Best DVD media
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is excellent blank media, I have burned 100+ at 12x-16x with zero write errors. Compatible with all drives and players that I've tried. The Lightscribe is a great feature, you can add pictures and text without fooling with sticky labels or worrying about labels coming off and jamming in player

Best LightScribe discs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little leary of buying Verbatims (Sony makes the best DVDs you can find in stores), but I can't recall a single bad burn. Works w/ my Lite-On drive, and the LightScribe quality is as good as I have seen on DVDs.
